After having used both my personal site and sites such as eBay and now Etsy for sales for the last several years, I've decided to sell mainly through other sites and use my personal site here as more of a gallery and blog style site to keep my customers updated on where to purchase my work and to get ideas for custom orders. I hand-make many of my own lampwork or art-glass beads and offer many of them in sets or singles.
I usually use soft or soda-lime glass in my beads, and ALWAYS anneal them in my digitally controlled kiln, relieving internal stresses caused in the creation process, which is an important step in ensuring long lasting strength and durability. Why?
